Terrie Becan

Classes: Private Piano Lessons
If you’ve ever been to Stone Oak Youth Theatre, you’ve met the smiling lady behind the front desk who our students affectionately call “Mim”. Terrie has a BA in Education from the University of Dallas with a specialization in Music. She has been playing and teaching piano for more years than she wants to say. She absolutely loves music, and believes that her job as a piano teacher is to make sure her students keep loving it too, even as they are challenged to progress.
Besides music ministry in church throughout the years, she also has a theatre career, having played Miss Lynch in Grease (Josephine Theater), a Pick-a-Little Lady in The Music Man (Josephine Theater) and Mama Bear, Mama Duck, Mama Rabbit and various characters in kids’ shows (Steven Stoli Backyard Theater).
